WHAT WE INSPECT

In general,the areas and items of the home to be inspected in a Basic Home Inspection are: grounds, exterior of the house, roof, foundation, basement, crawlspace, structure, attic, insulation, ventilation, heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, fireplace, doors, windows, and complete interior of the house.

This is explained in more detail in the InsideOut Standards of Practice. These industry standards are adopted with permission fom the Internachi Standards of Practice for performing home inspections. Please take the time to read these Standards of Practice. This will educate you regarding the home inspection process, detail what is inspected, and what is not inspected. These Standards of Practice are incorporated in and part of the Inspection Agreement.
